Vestax Typhoon on Macbook Pro

Hey guys, I am currently using an HP Pavilion Laptop and plan on purchasing a Vestax Typhoon in a couple of weeks. I am just curious that if I get a MacBook Pro and upgrade the Traktor LE to Traktor Pro, will the Typhoon function just as well as say a the Vestax Spin would?

Basically my question is, should I get the Typhoon now or just wait until I get a Macbook Pro and get the Vestax Spin.

well, I use my vestax Spin with the Typhoon mapping for traktor...so I'd assume that it would work just as well. The only advantage of getting the spin is that you get the full version of Djay software which isn't half bad, I believe traktor LE is really cheap or free even.
