stop point in the middle of knob?

I have changed the original tsi from ean and i made a xone eq and i set the filter at the gain knob.
My problem is that the gain knob hasn't a point where the knob stop(like the eqs have in the middle),and is a little difficult to find the point where filter getting off.
Does anyone knows if we could make these gain knobs like others?
I tried to find how these knobs stop in the middle,but i didn't find it.

it's the knob itself. hardwarewise. so you have to change the whole knob by opening the vci to get a center detent

The thing you're looking for is called a "center detent". you specify how many and where the detents happen during a knob's action while you order it, for example:

So this thing is under the knobs?I pulled out the plastic knobs but all of theme seem to be the same.
If i buy them and install on the board will i have problems withe electronic parts?Is this a mechanic or an electronic part?

Detents are built into the rotating mechanism. Here's some detents from a more expensive device:



A spring loaded ball falls into the dips in the detent plate as it passes by. Your potentiometer has a simplified plastic and spring steel version of this mechanism inside it. If your POT is able to be taken apart (the super expensive rotary encoders are, for cleaning) you can see and remove the detent ring and even make new ones for a custom project. Most POTs are not made to be disassembled, however.

I'm thinking about just remove the plastic and put something there but i can't find something.
I will try to remove the chip where these knobs are,and i will find how exactly these part stay there.
These rings where could i find them?
You say that these rings maybe can't removed so the first solution is maybe better?I remove the old gain knobs and i connect the new,like led replacing.
