Need help choosing a 4 channel mixer

Hi guys, I am looking to buy a new 4 channel mixer and currently I'm stuck on which one to buy. I really like the DJM 800 but can't really justify the price tag. I would like a cheaper mixer with similar features, possibly even with MIDI control so I could control traktor with it as well.

I plan on hooking up 2 cdj 1000 mk3's and 2 technic 1210's. I will be connecting my audio 4 as well using vinyl timecode at times.

The Berhinger DDM4000 pretty much ticks all the boxes you listed. I am however not the greatest fan of their EQs and the audio output. It is however pretty much the only 4 channel mixer with MIDI, effects and all the bells and whistles of the DJM line, however at a much more attractive price point.

Mixers are however a very personal thing I've found, my sagely advice has always to test as many different mixers hands on as possible and make a decision based on that.

yeh, tbh on here people are as helpful as possible but you only get the personal opinions of whoever happens to be online.

I googled "DJ shop edinburgh" and I dno if you know this place but hopefully they'll give you the opportunity to try out a range of different mixers and see what you like.

Why not go for the denon dnx 1600 has everything you want, and as bonus its certified traktor pro scratch mixer with build in soundcard, fully midi and extra sound effects.

Or the dnx 600, two channel smaller brother of the 1600, but with matrix routing so still able to hook both cd's and turntables up.

and much cheaper as the 800's

I really like that DNX1600, but of you like the DJM800 the 700 may be what you should get.

Thanks for the help guys, I already looked at the behringer and even the reloop mixer that is similar to the djm 400 (rmx 40 I believe) but completely forgot about denon. The DNX1600 does look like a really nice mixer, I'm swaying towards that now. Damn you guys! lol it's almost 3x more expensive than behringer. Only experience I have had with behringer is there feedback destroyer's and DI boxes when doing live sound.

It looks like I may end up buying the DNX1600 or the RMX 40 but neither have a sampler built in, though new version of traktor should overcome that I hope.

The mixer does need to be 4 channels though as I will be connecting 2 x 1210's and 2 cdj 1000's with an audio 4 at times but the DNX1600 scratch certification is very interesting.

Now I need a way to let the mrs let drop some serious cash on a mixer... I know she will probably make me get the behringer
