Audio 2 DJ to passive speakers?
I have a Macbook pro 13in, VCI 100 se, audio 2 dj and I want to get behringer b1520's or 215xl's. My question is, do i also need an amp to connect the speakers? I understand that the audio 2 DJ has 2 1/4in TRS cables but i would like to use one for my headphones and the other to connect to the speakers but the speakers have xlr input only. That's another thing, what if i want to connect it to two speakers? do i have to get some type of split? Sorry if this has been asked before but i have been using regular computer speakers to practice but i want to step outside of being a bedroom DJ and i need help! thanks!

1º you need an amp to power those speakers or get active ones. the A2 (or any regular source of audio) will barely move them.
2º yes, you need a splitter since the A2 outputs stereo signal, you only need one channel per speaker.

alright thanks! one more question. How would i connect the amp to audio 2 or are they completely separate?

Passive speakers always need amps.
You would connect the A2DJ to the amp. What cable to use would depend on what kind of inputs our amp has, but the A2DJ has stereo TRS out. So you could use that, or use the TRS to RCA adapters and an RCA cable to go into the amp that way.
