TSI import problem

Hello everyone and merry christmas!

So I am just this morning now the proud owner of a vestax VCI-100, very excited about this.

Unfortunately I have been having strange problems importing any sort of TSI file in traktor. I have tried a few different TSI files and am still resulting in the same problem, basically everything will come in except the controller mappings, it will be there with the name of the controller but no actual mappings.

I searched this and the only advice I found was using an alternate import button which appeared to work for some but has not made a difference for me.

I am running OSX 10.6.3 and Traktor Pro 1.2.1

You need to upgrade to the latest version of Traktor to be able to use the tsi's.

Yep, just run the Service Center app that came with your Traktor purchase

i have updated now but the same is happening, weird thing is even then Vestax official TSI files wont import

Make sure you haven't just opened the old version of Traktor from the Springboard. Not a mac person myself, but this can happen.

Yeah, when you upgrade to newer version of traktor you need to make sure you're not using an old desktop shortcut. Open up the Application folder and use the newest Traktor install.
