Default Wobble sound with simpler in ableton.

I have goten a good wobble, and played with it... However the wobble sounds seem to build through a progression. From quiet all the way through loud then sometimes the pitch changes on its own, then it comes to an abrupt stop. I want to make a consistant sound so I can record a clip that actually goes with my drums. Dose anyone have any good beginer advice or tutorials?

Also a random side question on my dj set up, im having trouble picking a mixer, I need a 4 channle, im using 2 techs and a oxygen 8 + foot pedal. Im not worried about on board sound cards ill get an audio 8 if I need too but either way but I want to use traktor. im on a budget but Id go for the best product possible. The xone db4 looks good, and I li,e the rane because I scratch and I like their faders.... Ahh please ne feedback from people whove had a chance to use theese mixers that are turntablists! I know those examples aren't budget mixers but they represent what I want. Ive been thinking pioneer djm 700 plus audio 8.

For starters, you're probably better off posting your ableton questions on the ableton forums or more production orientated forums, this place is great but more populated by DJs than producers. You may get lucky though.

Now then, a mixer? Unfortunately you have some pretty disparate requirements, so here's a shitload of questions! Do you want your mixer to have midi functionality or not? Are you sure you want to use a 4 channel mixer for scratching? Do you already have a Timecode DVS like TSP or Serato?

I don't really scratch but I have a DJM-600 (basically the older version of the 700) and an Audio 8 because I have hundreds of inputs and I really like it as a setup. I think what you need to do is think about exactly what direction you want to go in with your setup/style and then refine your list of requirements.
