I'm a DnB/Trance DJ but want to start producing some DnB, I haven't done anything like this before (apart from Ejay back in the day) and was wondering what programs I could use and if anyone has any tips or websites that would be useful.
Thanks!![]()

Anybody?
it depends on how much money you want to spend.
Fruity Loops, Reason, Cubase, Logic. They're all good.
But it's what plug-ins you use with them that dictates better sounds and FX.
Macbook, M-Audio Xponent, Akai MPD24, Virtual DJ
I've got fruity loops, do you know any websites that have tutorials or any good plugins to use?
thanks
Check the forums bro. More than enough info already on here.
Check youtube for tutorials on creating bass sounds on pretty much any soft synth.
Programming beats for D n' B is a different story... Know your breaks.

I need more advice please, I have now got some samples, but shouldn't I be creating my own drum/bass/synth loops? for example, in a sample pack I have, there are some good basslines but only 1 section if you understand what I mean, the 'next bit' of the bass loop isn't there.
What virtual instruments should I use? I know Native Instruments have a few good ones but for drum n bass which ones are good?
thanks
Here's another virtual MPC if your into controllerism. Its from SoniVox and is called the Pulse. A bit expensive but looks like it gets the job done.
Cheers!
