Default Help with Midi Fighter Pro

I just got my Midi-Fighter Pro in (Beatmasher) and so far I'm loving it, but I do have a few questions I couldn't find answers to.

    1. Does anyone have a mapping with the super faders and filter knob?

    2. For some reason when I use the instant gratification mapping the bottom right effect (lofi) won't work.

    3. Does anyone know how to get into the menu of a Midi-Fighter Pro? To get to 4 banks mode and whatnot. The reset button isn't visible and I was wondering if there was anything different to the MF Pro.

    Thanks

    Default Help?

Im working on a mapping my self untill DJTT officially releases theirs, i have the cue master model. I would suggest mapping it your self to the specific effects you want in the controller manager tab in settings. DJTT has a detailed tutorial on how to do so.

Is your beatmasher in your FX Pre-selection? if not go to the effects tab and do so.

if you really need to access the boot/reset buttons, you have to remove the back panel. Would not suggest this.

hope i answered atleast one of your questions!

There are no details of the MF Pro firmware yet, so I can't really help you out on that one I'm afraid. Someone reflashed theirs with the standard MF firmware the other day and ended up with some controls not working, so don't do that. Sorry I can't be any more helpful!

You get into menu mode on the regular MF's by holding the top left button while plugging it in, NOT by pressing the reset button.

I recently had some of the same questions. I have a Beat Masher and a Cue Master.

There is an issue with my Beat Masher. I first noticed that the layout of my buttons was reversed from how I had designed it. I then noticed when I plugged it in with the faders furthest away from you (like it's supposed to be) that the blue light that should be in the top left is in the bottom right.

I emailed DJTT and Michael (Midifidler I believe) sent me the fix. Apparently the grid on some in the initial batch of BM's were reversed.

So first of all, check when you plug it in to make sure that there the blue light is in the top left not the bottom right (make sure the faders are on the "top").

If that's the case, then hold the top left button when you plug it in to go into menu mode.

Review that thread. Basically you want to hit button #5 after going into menu mode to go into 4 banks select mode. For instant gratification, you want to select 4 banks INTERNAL.

At first when I loaded the Instant Gratification mapping, certain buttons were wrong. Thanks to others on the forum, I learned that you have to important the tsi file twice using the import button at the bottom of the preferences menu, not by going to Add and then Import.

Please note that I lost my preference settings when I did this... so you may want to save your current settings, import the TSI file twice, and then add your saved settings back.

Finally, make sure that you set your in/out ports for each deck's mapping for your midi fighter.

I am still very new at this so I might be off on some of this, but this is what has worked for me. As for the faders/knobs, like they've said best bet is to map them yourself for now.

    Good luck!

I think one problem is that my bottom right button is not working. :\ When I got into menu mode i couldn't exit because the button flashed but when I hit it it didn't exit.
