Apple Press Conference?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the fall press conference that apple does every year...ive been searching the web and heard about it supposedly being on sept 7th but that day has come and gone lol any ideas anyone??

Well you can already get an education-based iMac for $999. The downside is it's a i3, 250GB HD, and 2GB RAM.

By far the better value is a standard 21.5" iMac. i5, 500GB HD, and 4GB RAM for $200 more ($1199).

If you really need value, just get a mini and pair it up with a Dell or equivalent monitor.

I have to agree with ParisCreative on this one, I don't think it makes sense to try to save $200 and get a way crappier machine.

However that is very interesting that they're doing that.

Well it makes sense from offering something for the educational community. They have a single SKU to order off of, it's better value especially when doing large purchases, and yes while PC's are still quite cheap, some school districts don't mind the extra investment.

yeah i didnt realize the specs were gonna be that shitty and i thought it would be more than 1$ under $1000 lol way to go apple
