Default Maya 44 usb volume too low when cueing

Hi i have a maya 44 usb to run traktor with a vci100, am using output 1+2 to go out into the clubs mixr and then the sound system, using 3+4 with a rca to 3.5 thing so i can cue.

it all works great but the output on the headphones is soo damn quiet, its okey for when am practicing at home but in the club i can hardly hear my headphones.

I could just output to the pioneer mixer and use the headphone cue in there but it isnt an option as i dj with someone else

I was thinking a headphone preamp will help something like this ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FiiO-E5-HE...item4aae57e507 but am not sure if it will be powerful enough

    anyhelp is appreciated.

Well the Maya headphone amp is displayed as following:
headphone output (1/8" connector) with 60mW amplifier

While that amp you've shown on ebay shows:
Output Power: 150 mW (16 ohms Loaded)12 mW (300 ohms Loaded)

It will be considerably stronger then the Maya44 sound interface but may I give you my 2 cents, If your gigging at clubs maybe you should invest in a better sound interface like iDJ or Traktor Audio 6 from NI. I gurantee you wont look back if you do!

    thanks for that mate

hmm should be getting double if not more power

and yeah i will be doing just started at a club recently hence why i still have the maya 44. Am not sure if am goignt o be getting a new controller if i do i will probably get one with a soundcard built in.

i was actually thinking of the NI cards

am going to try to get gigs alone instead of doing it with a mate that way i can go back to cdjs which i prefer and use the laptop for ableton.
