Default S2 and midifighter classic problems?

    Hey,
I am having problems with my midifighter classic not playing nicely with the S2. the S2 effects knobs don't work after loading the fighter tsi. Is there a mapping that has the midi fighter and the S2 working well together? especially one that has the 8 cues on the fighter so you can leave the S2 in sample dekc mode?

How did you import the MF TSI? Did you add it in the little drop down at the top of the controller manager, or did you use the big import button on the bottom?

Also is the MF on its own midi channel or set to all ports?

I used the big import button and I also tried to use the import from the drop down menu. The port is set to the midifighter not all ports.

I would delete and start fresh. Get the S2 working correctly first. Then if all you want is hotcues, map the midi fighter yourself. Not sure, but is the mapping you are using for TPro1 not 2?

I am pretty sure that I have the latest tsi for TP2. If you have a link for how to map the fighter that would be cool. So far I have been trying to use the available mappings.

Mapping isnt hard once you get the gist of it. The easiest way to get you started is a couple of YouTube videos. If you follow the link in my sig to my YouTube channel, go to my playlists and watch the ones in the list titled Traktor Midi mapping. Also a forum member named tomburton has made a free midi mapping tutorial. Search for posts by him and the link to it is in his sig.

idk if this is applicable or not but I know my s4 knobs act differently in 4fx mode rather than 2, it may just be different controls
