Xone k2 mapping ideas

Im looking for someone that is good at making mappings to take my ideas and map them. I am completely untalented at making my ideas work. I would like it to be Traktor compatible. They are great ideas by the way. I'm serious.

Hey dubyou, what type of mapping you are aiming? one layer, multilayer? Transport, mixer, effects, all in one? Some more input would be nice.

1. I'm aiming for multi layer with vci 400 ean golden addition performance grid capabilities. (as seen on http://store.djtechtools.com/vci-400...n-edition.html video). I was thinking of taking that performance grid and incorperating it in the layers that the k2 offers. Which would make the k2 or dual k2s multi function fx and cue controllers that would be perfect as secondary controllers for on the fly expression. As for the top knobs I was thinking that filters would be nice since the s2 doesn't offer a filter knob built in it would be nice when dropping fx or glitching the track as seen in the video.
2. I also think that the top knobs could control three layers of sample deck presets, since Traktor 2.5s remix decks don't work that good clip launching in the sample decks would be nice with volume control. I mean the second idea on this list is somewhat frail and could be improved because I am more interested in having the performance grid as a secondary controller that can be used with a primary that doesn't have those capabilities. I am basically looking to as golden said in the video, map the best features of the midi fighter and other controllers in one handy unit.

About performance buttons grid. First mode (Slicer) would not be easy to map since those VCI-400 S.E. buttons can send multiple midi notes at same tame so this way you can jump for example three beats because this button send MIDI massage for beatjump +1 and beatjump +2 at same time. This is something you can't do with K2. Other three modes could be mapped with no problems. You can use top four buttons under top encoders to four layers mode by using modifiers, in this way you can set four different layer modes in each of the K2 firmware layers (12 modes total).

That would be an incredible mapping. No way I would be able to map that. Haha. I like the modifiers idea that would put insane amounts of controls at your fingers. It would take a lot to figure out what to put on each of those layers.

Well, first layer could handle full control over four deck mixer and transport and other two could be dedicated for full FX control (4 units; grats 1,2,3; effect combinations; supercombos; rmx-1000 effects). If I could get myself K2 you would already see some mapping like this flouting on the internet. Very inspirational device to me.

You know what would be insane? 16 modes in each layer

If you make this possible imma buy another one to run two deckalized to a and c and b and d with my s2. I want this so that I can use it instead of my midi fighter and still have more control.

I could, but this requires a complex MIDI mapping which I unfortunately can't really create without the actual K2 unit, it mean a lot of testing to get it work perfectly. I'm just giving some mapping opportunities from my point of view to make K2 ultimate mapping.

I had an idea to sell my custom bcd3000 mapping so I could get one of those xoneK2's and make a mapping like I mentioned. There is a whole thread on this.

I could do it but I unfortunatley do not understand how to make modifiers work properly and I don't understand how to store fx presets. And make LEDs work properly. It would take a lot of time im relatively new to mapping.
