Serato has abandoned ITCH. http://serato.com/dj/faqs I would not buy a Twitch.

I really like mine. Had enough of Traktor and the X1 glitching out all the time.

The live buttons at the front are great for loop rolling and playing slices. Effects are OK but the upgrade to Serato DJ (which is free for Twitch owners) should make it alot better.

The only downside is the output which is weak. You can buy a cheap usb booster though which will increase the signal.

Definitely lots of fun. PMT are doing it for £299 and I got that on 6 months interest free credit

Yes its been discontinued and now they have upgraded Itch to Serato DJ free of charge to itch users - and yes it will work great with the twitch but the upgrade will not be available till spring 2013 according to their website.

I'd be really pissed if I bought a controller thats in the Winter 2013 upgrade list mind you (or a Xone: DX) :P

If jogwheels are not on your "must have" list they are a great lil unit with tons of potential.

Is this software going to be fully compatible with my existing DJ Intro, Itch, Scratch Live or iTunes library?

Your current Serato DJ Intro, ITCH, Scratch Live or iTunes library will be fully compatible with Serato DJ.
Just to reiterate from the horse's mouth:
    TSP 2 | Serato DJ | Live 8 | MBP (SSD + HDD) | AIAIA TMA-1 Fool's Gold Edition | 1200 Mk2s | MidiFighter | KRK RP5
    Xone: DB4 | Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus

so if I were to buy a twitch now, it would ship with the latest version of itch and i could keep using that until serato dj was available for a free upgrade? correct?
