Hi fellow musicians and techies,
I am starting to put together a setup for myself. I have been amassing some vinyl and want to dj both vinyl and mp3s in a setup. After some research I started looking at the Denon MC6000, Traktor S4 and the Pioneer DDJ SX. These have phono inputs and are 4-channel.
My question is: I know I'll be able to play my records using the TT (technics 1200) hooked up to any of these controllers. What about having a software do the same features (cues, FX, beat grids, etc) it does for mp3s, for the TT as well? Is it true that the TT input will need special mapping? Does it vary between the above conrollers? what about software (traktor vs serato vs virtual dj)?
Today, would I be able to use the latest traktor/VDJ/serato with the Denon MC6000?
Any help is much appreciated! Even suggestions on a different controller..
Thanks,
Reuben S
