    Default Technics tone arm replacement

So I was considering replacing a dinged up tone arm and was looking at it and realized the wires on it are really small gauged. I was looking on ebay looking for arms, and was gonna get one but realized I have to some how connect these to my existing wiring by splicing and dicing. Is the only method to get a proper connection to solder it together, or are there super miniature connectors you can get?

No good connectors to use really. Best bet is a dab of solder and some shrink tube.

You could always replace the wires. I've done that a few times.

most the time when you buy on ebay they come with wires already in tonearm...you just need to solder to the RCA board and you are good to go...good time to change your RCA cables too

For changing my pop up lights out i got straight through crimps from my work, got to get the correct size though or theyll just slide off again, saves you getting shrink wrap and soldering, and does a nicer job.
