    Default Back to ableton

    So ive recently decided to switch from fl studio to ableton live 9, so what i want t know is which version should i ue, 32 bit or 64 bit, is there any real difference? im currently on a 13.3 in MacBook Pro with 4gb of ram, and i use a lot of plugins like sylenth and massive mostly, i also use sausage fattner. Thank you

    well I will tell you that I ran into trouble running sylenth on my 64 bit version because its not supported. I had to resort to using JBridge to be able to make sylenth work in 64 bit architecture. I hear they are supposed to be releasing a 64 bit version soon though.

    Unless all your plug ins are 64bit, there's really not much reason to not just stick with 32bit for now. If you start running into Memory issues, then you can switch to the 64bit version if you need.

    No reason to use the 64 bit version for you at all.

    The biggest advantage of 64 bit is that it can use more than 4 GB of RAM. Since you only have 4 GB, this doesn't apply for you.
