Default newbie help on new DJ system I have please

Hello everyone I am very new to the mix of djing. I am looking for a little help. My wife knew that i wanted to start playing with a kit so she went to a local store and bought me a kit. It came with a numark mix track pro, 2 alto ts110A speakers, 2 stands, a mic, headphones, all cables and serato dj intro..

Now here is my issue i would love to be able to use this without the computer. Like with an mp3 player or with radio with a output. I am stuck at this point with using my laptop and i would like to be able to not have to. I do not mind using the laptop tho really.

Also any help on the software as in if it is any good or should i get better software. Dont really want to spend alot if i do not have to since this is just something for fun for me and when we grill out and in my home gym.

One last thing. Since this only has one set of audio master outputs how would I go about adding note speakers or some sort of speaker or sub for depth. The 10 inches don't have a lot of depth but sound amazing as is for mid and high. Just trying to figure something out before o am past my time I can return it all?

    Thanks you in advance...

The Alto speakers have two inputs. Connect your MP3 player to the other one.

Subs usually have pass-through connections for your main speakers.

OK so as long as the sub has a pass through then I should be good. I hate to ask so many questions lol. Just want to make sure I can grow this some before having to purchase all new stuff. And as far as the mp3 player that's not a huge concern. The alto speakers have the strange looking 3 prong plug and the mixer board has the 1/4 audio jack.

I'm.not as concerned about the mp3 player for the most . But on the sub as long as it is a pass through then I should be good. The alto speakers use the odd 3 prong plug and the mix board uses the 1/4 audio jack.

In terms of MP3 Player and Alto Speaker Usage, I did a similar thing with my yamaha MSR which had two inputs XLR & RCA (Red + White). What I did Is a went to a local electronics store (The Source in my case) and picked up an adapter from RCA to 3.5mm jack and I plug in my ipod play music from there and adjust the gains from the speaker. As for your first issue which sounds like you want to be independent of your laptop for mixing unfortunately controllers are linked directly to laptop via Software if you wanted to run without a laptop youd have to go with a dedicated media players and a mixer (ie. Pioneer CDJ + Mixer). I didnt really consider this till after I got my S4 and now although i like my machine i wish i went with media players + mixer :/

I actually took all my components back. Went to turn on one of the speakers and it wouldnt power up. So i was still within 30 days so it went back so now i am trying to start over but thinking about the purchase this time before it is made. Simple and easy lol.
