Maxforlive: automate loading of audioclips.

I'm wondering if you are able to automate the loading of audio clips from a specific folder on my hard drive within Ableton. I know max/msp can watch folders but even if I could get it to autowatch a folder for changes via max/msp, i don't know if i would be able to load audio clips. I don't see anything similar in the LOM reference pages.

What exactly did you have in mind?

Are you talking about getting audio clips into the session view? There isn't really a good way to do this that I can think of.

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to. I was trying to get it to automatically load samples into the session view. It's for a temporary installation piece. I was thinking of making a sampler in Maxforlive but I want to use loops,not one shot drum samples. If they could be one-shots, I could easily make a sampler, but making a phrase sampler that could analyze loops with Ableton's accuracy, is a little above my head. Maybe I need to think of different ways to do this. I might see if i could use Traktor remix decks instead.
