    Default best cd players <$500

i am looking to enter the cd playing world, and i am loooking to spend no more than $500 for a cd player that doubles as a controller (HID or MIDI). so far i have come down to the following.

    Reloop RMP-3 alpha,
    Pioneer cdj-400 (discont...)
    american audio Radius 3000.
    Stanton CMP-8.

can anyone here shed some light on the rmp-3? ive used the others so far and just need some reviews on the reloop. it seems like a sweet product for the price.

The RMP3 looks pretty cool! Being able to run 2 cd decks off of one usb, or FX modulation with the platter....I really like that unit. And it comes in white for the stormtroopers.

I nabbed a used pair of dns1200 a couple of months back from guitar center but hated them as soon as i plugged them in. The platter feels really cheap and its a tiny unit. It was more of an impulse buy as I heard that they where decent players but didn't really like them so i took em back. I'd say the 400's all the way. Pioneer's are standard in all the clubs (at least where i'm from) so you'll feel right at home if you gig at a bar/club.

Of the little I've used them, I quite like the Denon 1200s, they feel a lot better than the CDJ 350, can't speak for the 400 though, I hear it's good.

i got a pair of RMP-3's coming i will let everyone know how they are, ive used 350's, 900's, and 2000's before so i am not too ignorant on cd players, but i also wasn't able to afford anything over a certain price range.

I'm anxious to hear your opinion of them, I'm about to splurge on some replacements and have been torn between these and CMP.800's. There has yet to be a real decent review on them, as they seem to be hard to get your hands on.
    Cheers!

i have used the american audio radius 3000's on and off, for about 2 years at a local store, and those are pretty solid. it was a tough choice between the AA, and reloop. you can expect a review within next week.
