Hi all
I'm finalizing my custom midi mapping for my SX2 in combination with TP 2.6.8.
2 things I can't seem to get right:
First (Channel Faders):
When I launch TP2 software (with SX2 already ON), all 4 channel faders are UP in TP2, although hardware faders (on the SX2) are DOWN. When I slightly manipulate the controller faders, the software channel faders shoot down. Open channel faders in software while hardware channel faders are down can lead to unpleasant surprises at startup preparation
Any way to solve this ? (Channel faders DOWN instead of UP on start up)
Second (Tempo Faders):
Although tempo faders are set to 'relative mode' in the tsi (standard mapping by Pioneer), the don't behave as relative mode. Example: When software fader is at -3 and hardware fader is fully down (maximum speed up) and I press 'Shift' and manually manipulate the (hardware) fader to the -3 position (+/- equal to the software fader) (because shift is hold, nothing happens 'on screen', the software tempo fader is not moving). When I let go the shift and manipulate hardware fader, software fader shoots up (to maximum speed down) (= direct mode).
This works fine on my S4 with TP2 (when shift is hold while moving the hardware fader, nothing happens on screen). Wherever tempo fader is manually set while holding shift, software tempo fader follows manipulation from where the hardware tempo fader is at when shift not pressed.
Any way to make this behavior also happen on the SX2 ?
Would be very handy !
Thx !
Kristof
