Upgrade Issue !
Hi everybody !
I have tried to upgrade my VCI 100 1.1.
AND... I have the 15024 Error number : Boot failed.

So, First when I make the workflow I put the VCI in boot mode. BUT, There are no lights on.
Is this step good or Should it be flush?

After, I launch my upgrade with a usb/serial cable on an opened Com (COM 5 for example).
And I have the error (see above).
So I have tried to unplugg the firmware from the VCI, and to unplugg the firmware kit and to lauch the soft with just the usb/serial cable :
And I have the same error !
So I don't know where does come from this issue...
Could you try with your cable alone to compare results?
I am lost ...
Thanks !

Follow the video closely and read the FAQ very carefully.
Many people have issues with USB serial so it may pay to find a computer with a built in serial port and use that.

Thanks for your responsiveness !
I did exactly the procedure that ean says in the video but a pop up says that a vci with no lights is not good...
So what is the good thing : No lights or flush?
Thanks for all

OK problem solved :
It works fine with my usb/serial.
The issue was coming from the alimentation. In fact, when I tried with my Macbook usb port (who knows my vci) it was not ok.
Then I tried with the PC usb port and it was ok.
2 solutions :
The voltage is higher?
OR
The PC has never instaled the vci so the voltage was not the same ???
Bye

Glad you got it sorted
