    Default Vinyl & DVS Setup

Well time to contribute, this is my current setup. I've got them split between production and mixing. All Ikea stuff too.

Production side is the HS80m monitors with Ableton running on a rMBP and then the lil MPK 25 hiding underneath.

    UPDATE 13/01/14
Still waiting to find a palatable deal on some CDJ's but got my hands on some TMA-1's for half price in the interim.

    UPDATE 01/04/15
Never really found a deal on CDJ's that I could sit with and ended up grabbing an S4...which I hate and have used 4 times max but hold onto for some reason.

Picked up some Tech-12's over the winter and have been really digging into vinyl, but still mixing mostly with Traktor. Spinning mostly DnB still, but my buddy (see photo of dude 'wat'-ing control vinyl) is slowly getting me into some more house influenced labels. I've got a pretty nice rig set up with my iPad mirroring Traktor which lets me close my laptop and focus on the decks. It uses a wired connection so the latency is pretty tolerable.

    UPDATE 06/05/15
Picked up a DB2 yesterday for a steal of a price! $500! I've wanted a Xone mixer for a long time and it's definitely been worth the wait. The effects on this are next level (I might actually use fx now... haha), and I can't wait to take advantage of the routing capabilities! The one thing I'm already missing from my Z2 is the browser controls. Any one out there have any suggestions? That Serato pad controller is looking interesting... I still have an X1 and F1 but they don't really fit in my workflow anymore.

Finally found some foam and isolated the monitors! I couldn't be assed to buy the pro auralex pads which is why I've put it off for so long but I definitely notice the difference just with some hand cut foam!
