Where to buy step encoders like those on the Kontrol X1?

I'm looking for a stepped encoder with a nice click like the Kontrol X1, and the push button feature, does anyone know what kind of encoder they use?

Usually a rotary encoder will have a data sheet that will give you all the options available for it. Here's an example...

You can see that this encoder is available with or without a switch, and there are options for no detents or up to 30. Lots of other places sell encoders (Sparkfun is a friendly site for example).
