Midi Fighter Twister: shift encoders on channel 5 not working

Hello, with the actual firmware it is not possible to use the shift encoders on channel 5. If i have an encoder set on channel 5, the shift encoder will output the same cc on channel 5, thus making it useless. Is there a workaround for this without using a pc, e.g. using hardware synths? is there any way to change this(midi channel or cc of the shift encoder) with the midi fighter utility? is this an hardware/ firmware limitation and there is no solution? thanks
