    Nice.. very nice.

I see a lot of clamps... is it glued only (or are there nails)? Great bit of work... love to see projects go from idea to completion. Thx

Don't think I would want to make loads of these, it takes a long time to make cos I like to get things right. I have not used any nails, everything has been biscuit joined and glued. I didn't want to use nails/screws because then I would have had to fill the holes.

    Errrr well i have used
    1 x sheet 4ft x8ft 1" mdf @ £28
    2 x wood glue @ £4 each
1 x metre length of 5x5" poplar (tulip wood) £40

I work at a hire firm and have had free use of all tools like sash clamps, router, biscuit joiner, orbital sander, jigsaw, belt sander

Here is a video someone posted on the last thread on dj forums pretty interesting. this is how i would have made it if i was a carpenter and had all the tools and a workshop

having glued the legs to the top and bolted it with m12 coach screws, i think this should hold it!!!!!

Thanks for making this post it will give me a great reference point when making my own production/dj desk in the spring. I will make my own post and provide detailed pictures for everyone once the building phase begins.
