Its decided....selling my s4 and buying this to use as eq with my maschine...all im missing from the s4 will be jogs and a crossfader....neither is good enough to use anyways.

then buy a DVS system along with this for house parties or wait for the vci-400.

I completely agree!!! im going to use it along side my maschine audio 4 and kontrol x1.. At first i thought "OMFG THIS NEEDS A CROSS FADER" but the more i think about it the more i realize i dont use a cross fader.. ever. all it seriously needs is not to have an audio card

I couldn't find it on the A&H website anywhere (doesn't mean it's not there), but I highly doubt that they will be center click.

Non clicking ones seem better for the multi-use angle they are going for

What makes you think they won't be center click? Ever use a 1D, 2D, 3D, or 4D?

I highly highly doubt they won't be center click. They were center click on all past xone models and I really doubt it will be any different. Pots that don't have center click suck and rule out any serious mixer controls like EQs or filters, A&H isn't stupid- they will have detents.


Also I really don't understand why people are complaining about it having a soundcard, just pretend it's not there. Do you realize that it is the same price as an X1 AND comes with a stand/case that you don't have to spend $40 extra on, and it is allen & heath quality, and it is priced well over a hundred less than the 1D which didn't have a soundcard? If the soundcard wasn't there no one would be complaining about the price if it stayed the same because people wouldn't have it in their head that somehow this could be a better deal than it already is. Just consider it a freebie now you have an Audio 2 DJ with you on the road.
