VCI-100SE & MidiFighter or VCI-100SE Arcade

dunno hopefully a moderator will answer that for you and another good add to consider on I would say is the m-audio axiom 25 thats my next investment =] good for producer start too.... but definately get the VCI-100 and soundcard.. then depending on your style and how you feel what you want to do in the future then pick up other controller (kontrol x1, midifighter, axiom 25...the list goes on and on)

Hey, sorry for bumping the post, just wondering if anybody else could chime in with their opinions..

Do you believe the functionality of the arcade buttons (not cue juggling, but general effects use) justifies the extra US$300, not being able to buy a MidiFighter, potentially not being able to buy the A2DJ for atleast a month, and that little bit extra money which could be saved if i went the standard arcade route and bought the MF and the soundcard at the same time.. For a beginner with currently no setup, no job trying though (about to start uni), and pretty limited cash atm...

Also just another general question, where have the DIY arcade mod kits disappeared to, and will they be returning at all??


To be honest right now, due to how im planning on using the controller (not so much cue juggling) and finances, i am rather heavily leaning towards the standard SE version.. Even though i did have my mind sent on the Arcade for so long now ... Means i can get the MF and the soundcard...
Im just still so torn between them both, because i really did have my heart set on the arcade haha... My 18th is coming up very shortly aswell, so i could use that money to purchase the soundcard, and possible the MF down the track??
