Default Headphones-Master Blaster Review about Audio quality and Durability

So I went out and bought the Nixon Master Blaster headphones because i work at a surfshop that sold them and could get 30% under wholesale and Gizmodo gave them a very positive review, so super stoked! The headphones sounded excellent had great clarity but after a month and a half of 2 or 3 gigs a week and normal at home use, the ball sockets broke on both sides of the cans. My question is in your guys opinion what's a great pair of headphones for the mobile guy, because the Master Blasters obviously aren't! Thanks for your input and help

I personally use the Technics RP-DH1200. They're comfortable, even over all of my piercings, have excellent sound without the overwhelming bass boost present in the Sony MDR-V700DJ, and have excellent build quality. I've been using them for almost 3 years, and everyone who's tried them out has switched over. The removable cord is fantastic, because cords break more than anything else.

I'll sell you some only-been-used-for-home-mixing RP-DH1200s (in box and with that leathery bag) for $70 shipped if you're in the US.

I would check out the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II. I got them about a month ago and am blown away by the isolation and sound quality. To me they are worth the price tag. They feel a bit flimsy, but I have beaten on them a lot and nothing has broken. From the reviews I've read, they are flimsy in feel but don't break.....and if they do, all parts can be replaced individually!
