Yes, unfortunately, I have put a lot of time and thought into the mappings, they are not just your usual run of the mill mappings for controllers that you get officially. I do run a business and thought I would just try it and see whether people would like a more professional service regarding midi controllers and mappings where you would get dedicated after sale support with the mapping files.

I mean after all Ean on here uses the mappings he creates to make money too .. to sell his products (Midi Fighter & VCI Templates) and to gain exposure.

It is simply business, just like producers create preset banks for virtual instruments and sell those. I apologise if anyone sees this as being cheeky, but if someone really wants a creative and inspirational mapping then I would like to share it and offer a professional service too.

Well thanks for posting that template image. Now I can just go into Traktor and spend a couple minutes manually mapping everything out without having to pay for the tsi. Cheers!

I completely agree with people selling their work like .tsi's, farmpad layouts, M4L setups, etc. After spending hundreds of hours on multiple projects that people end up complaing about fixes or want other functionalities that in turn requires more time, I think that those that wouldn't shell out some dough for someones hard work should pay up, shut up, or do it their damn self. My $.02.

Which is why I think it's best if people make their own layouts - it's a learning process that gives you a better understanding of the software and the controller.

thats not a very djtt kinda attitude, this site is here to help others. some people may not be able to afford to pay for a tsi. to try out or even use as there own. everyone here has always been more than willing to share their mappings. (incl. me).

Actually I think it's exactly DJTT attitude.
1)You suggested buying a copy and then sharing it, which is stealing just like stealing music or pirating software, which the DJTT's community is against.
2)Because he's offering it for sale doesn't mean come in a badger him about the value of his .tsi and the fact that he's selling his time/work which is exactly what buying any other software is, others time/knowledge.
3)If you can't afford a $20 .tsi but you can afford a Maschine, then you obviously can't afford the Maschine in the first place, cause most sample packs are more than that. If his .tsi isn't worth it to you, don't buy it.
4)Many people share their mappings, all good, but just because this one isn't free, doesn't mean he's ripping everyone off or needs lots of negativity. DJTT's is a positive place, so lets keep it that way
