This actually brings up a good point. I read that he was drinking heavily that night. Now, I'm not sure if that played a role into his fainting spell, but it sure does beg the question as to whether a DJ should drink at all while working (or right before going on). Or at least if he should stop after a predetermined number of drinks (like 2).
I could not spin effectively while drunk, probably not even while buzzed. I have always turned down drinks at the clubs, I would rather be levelheaded. Especially with today's digital DJs who use more than a 2 channel mixer with 2 turntables. I also only drink from a closed container around my equipment and ask others in the booth not to drink in there while my stuff is set up (for fear of the drink being spilled on my paid-for equipment).

You'd stop after two drinks? wow. I usually don't stop till upwards of ten.
