I have the same problem. Let me explain in more details:
I'm using Windows XP, Traktor Pro 1.2.5.
With the help of ASIO4ALL v.2 I managed to set Output Routing to SPIN's soundcard.
The problem comes when I try to use it as a controller. In Controller Manager I imported a couple of .tsi's from the forum, also tried Typhoon's .tsi from Vestax website. Nothing happens. No any response from faders/knobs movement, as if the SPIN was not connected 8-(
Would anybody be so kind to tell me (and djlooms) if I missed something. May be there is some mysterious "apply" button that I am missing to press?
Thank you in advance.
Have you selected the Spin in the in/out ports in controller manager?
Thanks for the reply
When I select one of the spin mappings by dmb from the forum, in the window in/out ports it says "n/a:SPIN DJ-Controller". When I try to select the ports, I only have a choice of "All" or "None".
When I select Typhoon mapping only "All" or "None" are available.
Any suggestions?
click all. If you do then it will accept any midi signal that comes its way. then mabey it will detect the spin. Sometimes this works with my vci
I am having the same problem. I started mapping it out but the scratching isn't right. I set the scratch function up on an APC40 but can't get this to work. I had it working in Windows but not on my MAC. Usually it's the opposite...
Did you use the big import button on the bottom left of the preferenc pain? You can also use the setup wizard.
Both of those didn't work but I found the problem. I have imported many tsi's before with no problem. What I found out was after updating to 1.2.4, everything works fine. I had 1.2.4 on my PC and 1.2.1 on the MAC, oops.
