If you want to create a commercial site that will pick-up search engine traffic (i.e. Google) use a .com without any hyphens or underscores. djtechtools.com is a perfect domain.

Your domain should be more obvious than clever. Will people know what your site is about if they see only the domain name? Creativity can be fun, but people have to be able to get it without any help.

Think about words and phrases that people search for. Use the Google Keyword Tool. Domains with keywords in them have an easier time ranking well for those keywords.
