    I've only really heard of it with the adapters that screw on, but it could happen with the adapters that just plug in to. Check inside to make sure there's not any kin of dust or lint in there. Maybe fiddle with the headphone jack while there plugged and see if you get sound in the missing ear.

    yeah my adapter has a plastic end where you plug the 1/8 male at..and i think its the problem.

    like 2 days ago , sound was just coming in the left, i just plugged it in , sound is just coming out the right. REFUND!
