    Default DIY MIDI Controller help

Midi Fighters are sweet, it is a known fact. However I want the joy of making one like a lot of you guys have and DJTT with their custom controllers. However I have no programming background as of now. I know how to solder and the basics to build one I am just confused on what I would need to get it to work with Traktor. I kind of want to make one like Ean's beatmasher but my own version.

Let's say I go with an adruino or I-PAC or some board like that. If I build all do I just need software to tell which each button, fader, or knob does and then make a TSI file?

What is the best way to go about making TSI files?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Check this link, as a fellow nonprogrammer/wanting to know more about programming i've found an ardy board and a forum are my two best friends. Also check out midibox.

    Hope this helps

Aurdino would be REALLY kool if you find the way to make MIDI go through USB.
Why buy something, when you can build it yourself for the double cost?
