Also, its actually illegal to use iTunes downloads for pubic performance so i dont see Apple approving an app that does it.

Dude its more compicaated that than im afraid.
ProDub is for the use of MP3s used for DJing, thats true. But the iTunes agreement states that iTunes downloads cannot be used for 'Public Performance" or "Commercial Purposes". The ProDub licence cannot overrule the host companies licence.
What you must do is burn it to CD. Any music burnt to cd can be played in Public. You then have to reimport it to play it as MP3 and thats where the ProDub licence comes in. It allows you to transfer CD to MP3 and then use the MP3 in a commercial way.
Sucks dont it.
Ah right, i dont use itunes so wasnt aware of that clause. i use cdpool, beatport and mastermix digital
yeah its a total head melter! technically if you burn your mp3's to audio cd's you still need the license. a very grey area still

Yeah mate it makes no sense whatsoever . Just another way of stiffing DJs.
So realistically if I make an MP3 copy of the AAC from iTunes I'm not breaking that part of the agreement?
(Got such a headache this morning, drinking on a school night never good)
