shit, I feel for you man. a lot of work you'll have to go through again. makes me happy I live on the 2nd floor... comin' in through the window ain't easy here. but as villinus said, an insurance makes sense in such cases. I have all my equipment covered against pretty much everything that could happen - it's not cheap, but really worth the money if something happens.

I am an anti gun person, but sometimes i'm glad we have laws like these.

That's for the thief to worry about! If I am home, he could lose his arm, or leg, or possibly life. He'd actually be considered lucky if he ran into someone with a handgun, a lot of people tend to keep shotguns around the house too. :P

It's a gamble on the thieves part . Is making $1000 worth losing your life?

Its even scarier if you live where Photo (I guess his name is Chris!) lives. I believe if someone steps on your property in Texas, you automatically have the right to put a bullet in them.

And that is one epic gun!

you dont necessarily have the right to kill someone on your property. you have to make every attempt to alert them you have a weapon. you have to allow them to leave. if you feel your life is threatened, that is when you can actually retaliate.

    i paraphrase poorly.

Armed Home Invasions happen all the time in the States, you must not live in a populated area.
