If its a few MB in size it is likely to have worked.

Okay, I rebuilt Qt and recompiled, and it looks better this time, weighing in at just under 10Mb. Give that one a shot.

    Now it says:
This version of the file is not compatible with your Windows-version. Open the systeminformation of the computer to check whether a x86-(32 Bit)- or x64 (64 Bit)-version of the program is required, and then contact the publisher of the software afterwards
However I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be compatible with a 64-Bit Windows. There are no drivers involved.

    Well shit!
Okay... hmm... anyone on XP? I can try it when I get home, but it sounds like I will need to compile a special one for Windows 7/Vista. I'll ask the Qt gurus again.

Damn... hope someone actually uses it once it's all said and done.

I also have XP (32 Bit) and just tried it.
Upon executing it a black cmd-window pops up and instantly closes.
Then I started it via commandline.
    It says:
Program ist too big for the working memory

Yeah, that's the next step. Is that kosher I wonder?

I also like to directly link all files, but its not worth your precious time if problems arise from it which don't make the program any better.
At least Windows-users are used to having a dozen of dll's next to the executables.

    Haha. Yeah, right?

I'm assuming a 32-bit compiled MinGW's dll won't be a problem to run on 64-bit. I'll package something up when I'm back in the office tomorrow. Thanks for your time thus far!
