Doesnt the Xone 4D work as a mixer too? So why nog get a 4D, and 2 CDJ-2000, and just start with that. Most people would be very jealous of that setup

Regardless of what anyone thinks of these guys, Tiesto, Cox, Hawtin and the like represent the top of the DJ earner food chain...
The equipment they use is not beyond the reach of anyone willing to work and save a little... heck, I've seen more advanced rigs by folks in this community!!
The point is, unlimited money will buy you as good a rig as you'll ever need (which doesn't necessarily mean you'll be sporting ultra-exclusive stuff), but after you've got all the equipment, you may have to spend your "unlimited troves of cash" on blinging your decks out with hope diamonds and 24k gold trim... heck maybe arrive at the gig in a helicopter... The fact of the matter is (and is the general response of this thread) your skill will determine if it's money well spent. After all this tech, there are still DJs out there that can rock a party with only a pair of 12's. Good luck!
