No chance you will ever see me with a 13" (too small) or 17" (too large). 15.4" is the perfect medium.

The topic wasn't about size of the screen...it was about differences between i5 and i7 and the fact that I can't search those terms because they're under the character limit of 3 for a search

It is. I have too much $ which is why I fund Karlos and TeLLy's habits.

    ALL of their habits.

All joking aside, I buy what makes sense. The i7 is the chip that should future proof me for a while, but is it WORTH it...is there a significant difference

man if i didnt have to sell a kidney to buy one, i'll be getting the i7 15 inch MBP as well

but for now i'll have to be happy with my MBP 13 2.4 Ghz

i will probably swap out the hard drive into SSD and install optibay (and remove the super drive) for additional storage
    Setup:

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50
