Ecler nuo 4 or xone 42

Not sure about a Nuo one but there's definitely a Xone eq. Ill have to check that out. Although I don't think anything in traktor can beat the real thing.

Also, the Xone style EQ you can activate for internal mixing is the 4-band-EQ which only the 62, 92 and 464 have. The Xone 42 has a 3-band-EQ. Haven't used an Ecler Nuo yet, so I can't really compare, but the sound quality on the Xone 42 is nothing short of amazing.

I have the NUO4 (the one with midi. The 4.0 doesnt have MIDI). It has both a USB midi out and a standard midi port. only ch2/3, the center midi specific channel, and the xfader can do midi. so ch1/4 are normal audio channels. and you cant run midi + audio the same time on ch2/3, its either or. You're right in saying that the Mid eq controls a lot of the range. The stock xfader is fine if you're not scratching, but if you are you want to change that right away.

other than that, I love the mixer for the input options, sturdyness, and general badassness haha

Ecler mixers have awesomely thick knobs. I have the 2 channel nuo and I love it.
