Just get one from apple, defo your best bet.

    Or these guys... Jigsaw

imo 15" is what you want and core duo is ample. If you can afford it get i5 whatever, but realistically core duo is fine

Yeah mate thats more than ample. Dont sweat all these i5 and i7 Macs. Your C2D is more than emough... it will FLY dude...

You can get 1 year Applecare with the mac and then buy the next 2 years when the first year is up. Saves you £200 now but you have to buy it before it runs out next year. Apple will ring you near the time. Thats what ive done every time i buy a Mac. I never buy the 3 years in one go.

these refurbs are excellent. You got no worries mate.

Cool, yeah i was speaking to a girl in the apple shop who seemed to know her stuff, and she said with that spec and with the way a mac runs with the operating system it will be really powerful and quick to, and i suppose coming from a acer laptop (even tho this has an i3) it will be mega quick compared to anything ive had.

Yeah good choice, that thing will absolutely handle anything you throw at it.

I have an old 13.3 with 2.4ghz and 2gb ram and run Traktor, VDJ with video and Logic all with no problems, so that Pro will piss it.
