I was expecting a mac vs pc arguement just from the title of this thread. I'm glad you got a new toy to play around with

    MY POINTS:
What if the title said "So glad I got a new windows 7 laptop"
U don't think ppl would come in here glorifying their macbooks?

Anyways from everything I've noticed the only real advantage to using mac over windows at at this point is the ease of traktor recognizing itunes (kinda an advantage)
    -Latency
-S4 has kinda sucked it up on windows....

I wouldn't really know though cuz I just loaded OSX on my $700 vaio and it doesn't have aluminum casing so it must not be working properly haha.

The only thing that ticks me off about apple and why I won't buy their products is the fact that the hardware in almost all their products is like 3 years old and they still cost more than any other laptop on the market....
-OSX is good for Dj'ing though
    -And they look hella sexy

    Congrats on the new toy

You can stick a rolls royce engine into a ford taurus .. doens't mean its a rolls royce :P

Pulling your leg dude but I wouldn't trade off the build quaility of a mac for anything (except maybe budget)

And yeah I have hackintoshed as well in the past when budget wouldn't permit the real thing...but its not just all about specs, its the 'lil niceties with the design that make the user experience.
