top of each platter is metalic plate, which sends as a midi cc message. The outside of the platter is another cc.

Wich cc's you got in your mapping from the platter?
think my vci-300 is really broke now, already had the right jog issue in itch but that didnt bothered me with traktor, now i cant scratch anymore in itch
and in traktor the jogs only having 1 midinr.
did you try adjusting the sensitivity in the back? Sometimes this needs to be adj.
Stick with Itch first and once that is 100% working, play with Traktor.
Good luck.
It did worked fine before and adjusting it doesnt work, gonna send it back now.

I guess it is broken..
Good luck..that suks!
I can hear the music playing but it sounds like an alien singing, not clear at all. What could be the cause of this. Are my settings screwed or if anyone has a sample of their settings it would be cool. I am also using Vista 64, so I'm wondering if the sound card in the vci 300 is compatible. The thing is I hear the sound just fine but its not clear. I'm using Traktor 3.41. Any help will be appreciated.

What are your output assignments?
Hi,
i was using my VCI300 with ITCH since today. I was wondering how it works with Traktor.
Installed Traktor 3.42 + mini.Translator - since now everything was fine - but after hours of reading trough forums and setting up Traktor to make it work with VCI300, i came to the conclusion - something must be wrong. I hope I found the problem:
There most be something wrong with the INPUT, i've tried to select every of these - no response -> can't controll anything... but at least i can hear sound through my headphones connected on VCI(only if i press play with my mouse!!
can u help me:X?
you have to assign the output of the mini.translater (in the picture it says "mini.Translator 1 Virtual Out") to the input of traktor (Midi In). that's basically all you need to do, if you want to light leds in your mapping you should also assign "VCI-300" as Midi Out.
hope it works!
oh, and of course you need a mapping for the controller (the tks file attached from ean on the first post).
MBP, 10.5.6, TPro 2.0.1, Kontrol S4, VCI-300, a bunch of other makes-nerds-happy-stuff
...and still haven't got the heart to get rid of my Turntables, Mixer and my VinylsReggae, Ragga, Dancehall, Chill Out, Dubstep, Breaks, Drum & Bass
