Gotta agree with Nephew to a point. His post was aimed at telling the OP how to find the music for himself. These post will never go away though so maybe you should copy your post and put it in a text file Nephew. That way you can just copy and paste the next time the question pops up.

Seems this thread has certainly brought out the attitude!!! OT didn't come across to me like he wanted the hard work doing for him. Nothing wrong with asking for opinions or pointers. I mean shit I've been into EDM for 14 years and I've only just come across The Hanna Hansen podcast because of a post in this thread. Juno and Beatport contain so much piss that you sometimes need a place to start. And where better to fine that place to start than asking a community like this??!! Once he's found his way in THAT'S when the hard work starts!

theres been quite a lot of "bashing" so to speak over asking about a genre.



and btw. i have been searching myself.
and yes the genre i have been looking for was a mix between tech house/deep house stuff like that.
the "rolling" bass/kick type sound, in a sense it kinda sounds like psy trance kicks

i digress, the fact of me asking for artists, on a community based solely of digital dj's and music production, seems like it shouldn't have taken this kind of attention.
because totally, being rude, is gonna get rid of all the people who ask or look for music.

I thought this was a site for dj's and isn't dj'ing all about sharing music. the thrill of putting and sharing that one record that you found. And just wanted to share this with everybody.

I think these threads are a bit like dj'ing, it fullfills our ego's with sharing that nice find that you did.

If you wanted to share music then do it in a mix, that's what DJ's do. They don't just go to a club and start listing off their favorite artists over the mic.
