WOW GUYS THANKS A LOT ALL OF THAT HELPED OUT A TON

i am going to be back spinning this fri and sat, and im going to see how it goes, if the same stuff is happening, im just gonna say look either you want my style and want younger crowd or keep the townies, if townies is it then im not your man

funny thing is im no fucking pro by any means im starting out with a crappy midi and traktor duo, and i had 3 guys come up and chat my ear off about how they do this and listen to this try that

point is im still a rookie dj, but i got off my ass and found a GIG!! so no matter how good those douchers r they are still at home, you dont need to be fuckin pauly d or even paul van dyk to rock a crowd.

    SO THANK YOU ALLL

I've always found that if you want to express yourself in your own style, you should throw your own night at a small club or bar and build a following. If people dig your style or the style of other DJ's you ask to play your night, your fanbase will grow.

the 90% is no lie either..that does describe exactly 90% of my gigs...I just say ok....then when their $$$ drops I go back and they want more of my music...

Hahaha, that's me right there. Except I don't go up to the DJs at clubs. :P

I hate fucking bon jovi (except blaze of glory and billy get ur guns, but i really like young guns 2 so that dont really count). with that said.

I say just ask the club owner do u want to get a younger clientele ior do u want the old fucks with their bon jovis and onions on there belts?

If i went to a club for the first time and it was supposed to be EDM and then u drop bon jovi, yeah Im fucking leaving and never coming back. on top of that i will tell everyone i know about it and make sure they spread the word that this club sux ass.
    Exactly what i would do.
