Traktor (S4) Crashing on open

wavs don't have id3, it's stored in a) traktor's collection b) itunes library

But Traktor does store info in Wavs. The NITR chunk holds Traktor information and the Data chunk holds audio data.

Sounds like a corrupt wav file to me.
Just bin it.
