It's the most in depth overview of Traktor you will find any where. I HIGHLY recommend it.
My friend purchased the second edition a awhile back, I'm too lazy to read but he found it very useful. I didn't really care for it, but it saved me from having to explain everything to him, worth the $33 :P
I bought one.
I only ask cuz im planning on releasing a book on MIDI mapping. I have decided to give it away with a donate button on my site. Just, the traktor bible book on the whole subject of traktor doesnt seem very long. Maybe im just a geek, I like to work out different ways of using stuff. Would people be interested in a midi mapping book, well its nearly done so releasing it anyway.
I woudl be interested in any midi mapping book. Are you just doing midi mapping with Traktor? Have you got S4 covered? It's a little different on some of the commands and I suspect the new traktor will have some small changes. he traktor Bible is 384 pages including the index and TOC. That's seems pretty big to me.
im going to update the book each week should start at about 60 pages, however hoping to have about 120 by march. Im not sure how much the traktor bible has on midi mapping. I dont have an s4 atm so cant do the s4 version ( will hopefully have one soon). Hopefully NI add more modifiers in the new version as I have run out.
why no more modifiers they are useful
8 are more then enough, even more if's
but really, a mapping with 8 Modifiers are overkill for traktor, you will make at least one mistake every 5 minutes. I would love if Ableton got the Mapping from Traktor, and Traktor of Ableton's.
more than 8 Modifiers... c'mon
