*Sidenote-Try this on your images before upload*

Before you upload your photos, add a few things that will help search results:

Google b3nz0n8 or Karlos Santos and then click the 'images' link on the left.

Here you will see most of the pics I've posted on DJTT, through standard relevancy and some of those I've tagged and posted/hosted on my flickr account and then added to DJTT.

Add hypens to replace the spaces between words in your image name.

For example:

Theory28-DJTechTools-Snow-February-2-2011-73069 (or whatever your zip is if you want them geo-located by google search.

You can also add other keywords that you wish to tie to the images/DJTT forum.

Reason for hypens:

Google will replace spaces with % signs and that is difficult to read. Hyphens are also part of the search criteria set by google if you want Google to elevate your search profile.

Note: If you add a zip code, Google will present a mini-map pinpointing that zip. You can drill down even further if you add an address (if you wish, just be careful about geolocating your home. Privacy in this day and age is paramount).

There are so many other ways elevate your search engine profile and your DJTechTools Profile within the DJ community, so have fun with it.

If you upload more gear to the DJtechtools "Show your Setup!" thread, you can add your name and product and it will come up in search.

Just a thought and a good way to promote yourself here on DJTechTools and other DJ sites in Google searches and to build out your online DJ profile.
