    any clue?

    Don't see any mentioning about two usb ports like the new sl4

    Looks to be one from the top right corner with the following description from the Traktor Audio 6 page:

    The Direct Thru feature makes switching between DJs a breeze, supported by the signal chain status LEDs on top of the unit.

    Direct Thru mode allows use without computer, on power supply only*
    * Available separately

    Okay so you clearly see the DC LED indicator right next to the USB indicator in the upper right corner.

    So obviously the interface can receive power from an AC adapter, so in the instance it is being used as a through for a normal CD/ real Vinyl DJ the DJ before that used traktor time-code can unplug his usb and walk away with his comp. And the next time-code dj can easily plug into the open usb and grab the interface with his traktor install. No RCA's plugged/unplugged, and no necessary interruption in sound.

    Says the same for TP. It would make sense that TP and TSP upgrades will have a small charge and that TS4 will be a standard no cost update. I'm hoping.

    Yes, it would make sense to me too. TS4 hasn't been around very long. The only thing they may charge for is timecode support.

    I believe it was on the NI forums but someone had the theory that S4 Pro would just turn into Traktor Pro 2. It doesn't make sense to have so many different forms of the same software. T Pro 2 would just be setup to communicate with the S4 controller the same way S4 Pro does. It'd become an option in the setup menu like the X1 is on TPro and TSP

    So the new interfaces mean that you can easily switch between a traditional set and a digital set. But what to do when you're switching between 2 Traktor DJs? Still the same hassle as before - either put in a CD for transitioning the USB cables or bring your own interface...
    On the flipside, I think I wouldn't share my soundcard with someone else during a club night, so it would only be a downer for club installations... If I was a club owner, the SL4 would be more appealing to install because of the 2 USB connections.
    If NI feels the pressure, do you think they may put out another soundcard?
