This is how I set up this past Saturday...

I turned an Odyssey flight case top upside down...
    DJM-800
    MBP on an Uberstand
VCI-100se on 2 Auralex MoPad Monitor Isolation Pads (http://images.guitarcenter.com/produ.../251332jpg.jpg). I've also custom cut them to fit on a CDJ-1000 mk3 without touching the platter or messing with the pitch control, start/stop release knobs, or reverse switch...lol

Interesting idea. I've been thinking of doing something like that with my old HUGE Road Ready CD flight case.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

That's a nice set-up, man. Some people get too obsessed with their gear (I'm one of those people!!!) If I was gonna minimise my set-up I'd definitely go for the MPD32 and the Nocturn.

And I'd have to also have my Ultralite. And my U46DJ. Oh, and my Technics and my Vestax 07 ProD mixer. And my UC-33e. And can't forget my Axiom49 and my Dr-202.

Damn. It's easy to ge a gear slut...

    Cheers,

yeah as i said, it works, the mpd32 is great cos there are 4 banks of bads, so i can switch between effects, browsing, looping, cue juggling etc. the nocturn is only used for EQ play/pause/ and xfade if im honest!

I notice you're from Bristol, I went to St. Brendans college in Brislington, still got a fair few mates over that way, my ex-missus lived nr Avonmeads/st.annes so i was spent a good couple of years frequenting Bris, although i live in Bath myself, what a city eh?
